A shared table at Settle & Fern was the only free seat in the café. One spilled oat latte and a two-hour conversation about terrible movies later, Julian asked for a second cup — and a second date.

Our Story
Seven years, three cities and one very persistent golden retriever later, here we are — writing the last chapter as two, and the first as one.
Spring 2021 · The Coast
Our first home
We packed a rented van, adopted a golden retriever named Biscuit, and moved into a tiny cottage with a lemon tree. The garden was a mess and the kettle never worked, but it was entirely ours.
June 2025 · Big Sur
The proposal
On a cliff above the Pacific, with Biscuit stealing the ring box mid-speech, Julian got down on one knee. Everly said yes before he'd finished the sentence — and then made him say it all again.
September 2026 · Sonoma
Forever begins
Now we're gathering the people we love most under the oak trees at Fernwood to make it official. Bring your dancing shoes, your appetite, and a tissue or two.
